    • Management The Director of the State Construction Control Bureau of Latvia is Mrs. Svetlana Mjakuškina
    • Structure The State Construction Control Bureau is headed by the director who has a deputy. The Bureau also has three departments and six independent divisions.
    • Areas of activity The Bureau monitors quality and safety in the field of construction, as well as administers energy policy in accordance with the competence specified in regulatory enactments.
      • Administration of Building Information System The Building Information System (BIS) is a public portal which ensures information exchange among the persons participating in the construction process.
      • Certification of construction experts The Bureau provides certification of construction experts and supervision of permanent practice.
      • Dealing with applications and complaints The Bureau deals with applications and complaints of legal/ physical persons.
      • Information to the public The Bureau organizes informative seminars for local governments, municipal construction boards, construction companies and construction specialists, as well as other members of the construction process.
      • Inspection and supervision of buildings The Bureau ensures inspection and operational supervision of public buildings for safety of public and guests in Latvia.
      • State control of construction works and commissioning of buildings The Bureau performs control and acceptance of construction works for certain types of structures.
    • Laws and regulations The legal framework of the construction and energetics.
    • Whistleblowing
