Service requests
When applying for the recognition of professional qualifications in order to acquire the right of self-standing practice in the Republic of Latvia, the applicant must submit THE following documents TO BVKB:
- application for certification (Form 1 PP.BV S.Nr .1 Adoption and evaluation of documents submitted by applicants);
- the information on the required education must be entered in the Construction Information System - BIS, accompanied by a statement from the Academic Information Centre on the alignment of professional qualifications.
- information on own-initiative practices relevant to the field of activity should be entered in the Construction Information System - BIS.Receipt of services
After examination of the documents submitted, the applicant shall be invited to the theoretical and practical examination before which a personal identification document (passport or ID card) and the original document certifying education must be produced. By successfully passing the examinations, THE BIS shall take a decision on the award of the right of self-practice, which shall be sent to the applicant's e-mail address.
